Critics tend to compare and highly accolade performances by Piaf and Mathieu, calling artists to be the most prominent and influential in the 20th and already 21st centuries.
Kyiv concert will present the best songs of Edith Piaf and Mireille Mathieu. “Kyiv show will be unique, as two legendary French voices will be performed on stage by one and only – talented Mireille Mathieu,” commented the organizers.
For many, Mireille Mathieu is associated with France; during her professional career she has composed more than 1,000 songs and sold over 100 million album copies worldwide. Mathieu favored millions of fans worldwide when performing live in Catalan, Chinese, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Russian.
